FIFA 15 fans now have more freedom in attack

The next frontier for EA Canada’s FIFA series isn’t photorealistic grass or emergent ball physics or convincing fan riots. It’s feelings. In FIFA 15, every one of the 22 players on the pitch has an emotional state that the game tracks and tweaks in real time.

Information that will be provided include formations, team sheets, the clock, the score and upcoming fixtures. The game will also implement the Premiere League Goal Decision System, which was enforced in the real-life 2013-2014 season.

So it’s a bit of a shame that Fifa 15 – the newest in EA Sports’ eternal series – isn’t yet ready. The officially licensed World Cup game can charitably be described as a travesty, a current-gen-only release that crams in all the eligible teams, but feels more like an add-on than a full release. From the E3 demo, however, it seems Fifa 15 will be worth the wait.

The below are the new features in fifa 15.

Living Pitch
Pitches will never be the same. Slide tackles and boot marks are now visible on the pitch, and as the match progresses, the playing surface becomes increasingly weathered just as it would in a real football match. Fans playing in rain or wet weather will notice mud and debris on the pitch. Corner flag physics, goal frames that shake, and animated LED ad boards are just some of the new details that bring FIFA 15 to life.

Teammate Control
FIFA 15 fans now have more freedom in attack with the ability to take control of teammates during throw-ins, corners, and free kicks. Using the right stick, FIFA fans can now control teammates off the ball to put them in the optimal spot to receive a pass during dead ball situations.
